SUMMARY:Accident investigation program
DESCRIPTION:95% of our decisions are made in the unconscious mode.\nDo you want to learn how human beings make decisions as individuals and in groups? Do you want to know how people behave under stress and pressure?\nThese two aspects of human behaviour are key to learning from accidents and events and getting better at managing the risk.\nThis is the focus of Social Psychology Event Exploration Programme (SEEK) based on Social Psychology of Risk.\nNo lectures, no presentations, and no arguments. The course is uniquely designed keeping in mind how we learn and shift our perspectives most effectively i.e. through experiential learning.\nWhat you will learn:\n> How to become aware of your own biases and assumptions by mapping your words on a whiteboard\n> How to listen, map and analyse the decisions of those involved in the accident on a whiteboard\n> How to frame questions and statements in an interview to generate engagement\n> How to articulate complex and sensitive issues in analysis and reporting\n> How to become aware of the psychological, social, and cultural influences that contribute to accidents\n> How to shift from a culture of blame towards a learning culture\n> How to truly learn from accidents and events\nAccident investigation skills (basic and advanced)\n\nThe SEEK Doughnut model. Most Investigation courses do not teach the investigation skills taught in this course. The Doughnut represents the importance of focusing in those hollow but essential areas that lead to unlearning, learning and positive change.\nAdditional support\nAs part of the program participants can expect a range of tools to assist with the development of event investigation skills:\n> Training manual\n> SEEK Program Tools\n> Self Perception Tool\n> Temperament Listening Tool\n> Risk Maturity Matrix Tool\n> Conversation iCue Tool\n> Dialogue Do’s and Don’ts Tool\n> Your Talk Matters Tool\n> Culture Cloud Tool\n> Culture mapping tool\n> Your Talk Matters Tool\n> Visual and Spacial Literacy Tool\n> Learning Styles Tool\n> Open Question iCue Tool\n> Wicked problems Tool\n\nVenue\nThe workshop will be held at the London Heathrow Marriott Hotel.\n\nRegistration\n£ 1500.00\nEarly bird with a 10% discount (£ 1350.00) available until 19/10/2025.\nPlease use the coupon code SEEK25 to avail the discount.\nWhen you sign up for any of our workshops, you will also become a lifelong member of our online community where we meet every month at least once with a group of practitioners from around the world to practice iCue mapping (for free).\nFor group discount (3 or more persons) please get in touch at support@novellus.solutions ( mailto:support@novellus.solutions )\n\nTerms and conditions\nRead our terms and conditions ( https://novellus.solutions/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Events__t_s__c_s.pdf ) before you book your seat\nProgramme Catalogue\nThe investigation program is one of the 12 units offered as part of continuous professional development.
