Accident investigation program
- May 13 - 15 2026
- Expired!
- All Day
- £1,500.00
95% of our decisions are made in the unconscious mode.
This three-day course is uniquely designed for investigators and professionals to enhance their self-reflection and observe their own biases when dealing with accidents and events.
The potential for learning and preventing recurrence of accidents often turns into a finger pointing exercise because we lack self-awareness and people skills.
The Social Event Exploration Knowledge (SEEK) Program built upon Social Psychology of Risk offers a different approach that will also help when encountering unexpected and difficult situations.
What you will learn:
> How to become aware of our own biases as investigators
> How to frame questions
> How to observe and gather evidence in an investigation
> How to interview people in the investigations process
> How to listen, map and analyse the decisions of those involved in the accident
> How to write the narrative of the accident
> How to recognise and deal with trauma in investigating people
> How to shift from a culture of blame towards a learning culture
> How to prevent and learn from accidents
