The SEEK programme

95% of our decisions are made in the unconscious mode.

This three-day course is uniquely designed for investigators and professionals to enhance their self-reflection and observe their own biases and of others with the view to prevent accidents.

The potential for learning and preventing recurrence of accidents often turns into a finger pointing exercise because we lack self-awareness and people skills.

Social Event Exploration Knowledge (SEEK) Program offers a different approach that will also help when encountering unexpected and difficult situations.

SEEK

The investigation program is called SEEK Doughnut model. Most Investigation courses do not teach the investigation skills taught in this course. The Doughut represents the importance of focusing in those (hollow) areas.

Practical details

When you register for this program, you will receive a Zoom link. The same link can be used to access all the sessions (morning and evening).

You are welcome to join the first session for free to check if this is the right course for you. Should you wish to proceed after attending the first session, you will be expected to pay the full fee for all the sessions.

Send us an email at support@novellus.solutions and we will send you the registration link to join the first session.

The entire coursework is based on experiential learning (no lecturing, only role plays, experiments and interactive discussions).

Training manuals, checklists, reading material and recorded videos will be made available to all the attendees.

Online sessions last for 1 hour each.

If you miss a few sessions, you will have access to recorded (and password protected) videos.

Read the book

Book authored by Nippin Anand
  • How do human beings learn, unlearn and make decisions?
  • How can we understand and improve sensemaking in our organisations?
  • How can we observe and learn from everyday work (using a cultural framework)?
  • How can we develop and foster expertise in our organisations?
  • What does it mean to experience trauma in a crisis?
  • How do human beings make decisions in a crisis situation?
  • Why do we blame and why we cannot avoid blaming?
  • How can we truly and genuinely learn from accidents (a practical framework)?

The book addresses these questions in a highly engaging storytelling format.
