Critical thinking
The questions we ask, the statements we make, and the most basic issues that we (tacitly) agree upon and disagree with can reveal so much about our moral compass that underpin our every day decisions. In this unit, the participants will learn how to use iThink Critical Thinking Clock to surface their (unconscious) moral choices with the view to improving their critical thinking and decision making.
The iThink Clock is a tool to help with the deconstruction and analysis of what lies at the foundation of many popular ideas and methods in risk. The many methods (and frameworks) in risk and safety available to us rarely disclose their underlying beliefs, values and philosophies. This will be our focus for the day at the conference.
The iThink Clock is based on Social Psychology of Risk
